Attention seniors! The 2020 senior yearbook questionnaire is now live!
You can access the survey above in the “For Seniors” menu. Be sure to tell us about all the great things you’ve done during your time at Amity, provide us with a quote you feel represents you, and cast your vote for this year’s yearbook dedication! All questionnaires are due on Friday, November 8th. Late submissions may not appear in the yearbook due to deadline constraints, so be sure to complete this form on time! See Abby Wisnewski, Danielle Lee, Mrs. Hulse, or Mr. Clark with any questions.
Calling all seniors! Who’s got the nicest eyes? Who’s most likely to become famous on TikTok? No, seriously—we want you to tell us! In fact, we’re depending on your responses to create the yearbook’s “Senior Superlatives” feature, which will reflect some of the most memorable personalities of the senior class. Help us to make sure that Embers 2020 reflects its seniors accurately by casting your votes today! You can access the survey above in the “For Seniors” menu. It will close on November 27th.
“Last chance” senior portraits will be taken on Friday, September 27th, in the district presentation room. If you/your child missed an appointment at the end of last school year or over the summer, this will be the very last opportunity to have a portrait taken in time to be included in the yearbook.
All seniors who have not yet had their portraits taken will be receiving appointment cards during homeroom on Thursday, September 19th. We will also be sharing an electronic version of the complete schedule for these sessions with all seniors soon.
We want all our seniors to be in the yearbook, so please note that THERE IS NO CHARGE for this single sitting. For multiple sittings, please contact Robert Taylor Photography at (203)377-0739 to schedule an appointment at the studio.
If you have any questions, please contact the yearbook advisors, Ken Clark and Vicki Hulse, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The 2020 edition of Embers is now officially on sale! The cost, which is currently $75, will increase to $80 on November 16th and again to $85 on January 18th. Guarantee your copy today! (Remember, we sold out last year!)
Picture Day for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors is scheduled for Monday, September 9th, and Tuesday, September 10th. All students will have their portraits taken during English classes, and English teachers will inform their classes of which day to prepare for. Order forms were distributed in homeroom on the first day of school, but extras are available in the main office, the library (see Mrs. Hulse), and the yearbook office (see Mr. Clark). An electronic copy can also be found here. If you have any questions, please contact the yearbook advisors, Ken Clark and Vicki Hulse, at email@example.com.
The 2019 Embers Yearbook: “From Our Perspective” was revealed today to the graduating class of 2019 and dedicated to Mr. Christian Allard, ARHS English Teacher. Seniors were able to pick up their pre-ordered yearbooks today. The rest of the student body who pre-ordered yearbooks will be able to pick yearbooks up during lunch on Thursday and Friday or next week during exams in the library. The books are currently sold out. Please see Mr. Clark or Mrs. Hulse with any questions.
The yearbook staff is excited to have reached its sales goal for this year! The publisher may be able to provide us with additional books, but as there is no guarantee that they will be able to do that or how many they will be able to provide, the yearbook staff has started keeping a waiting list for those still interested in purchasing books. In order to get their name on the waiting list, students must see either Mr. Clark or Mrs. Hulse in person, and they must provide the full purchase price of $80, either in cash or by check (made out to ARHS). Students will be refunded if their requests are unable to be fulfilled after June 7th.
